CREATIVE CLUB

Introduction

Creative club is a club that aim to give chances to students to learn about craft. They also encourage the students to their talents individually or in group. The club conduct their weekly meeting every Wednesday.

Activities

1.       Selling souvenirs for Year 1 Registration Day 2010

Agenda:

a.       Participating in the sales and selling the club’s products to the guests.

b.      Promoting Creative Club among the new students and parents.

c.       Enhance entrepreneurship skills among club members.

2.        Making varied hard-based basket

Agenda:

a.       Preparing newspaper and magazines rolls.

b.      Organizing “who rolls the most in numbers?” competition.

3.       Learning on how to make traditional kuih (kuih bahulu)

Agenda:

a.       Learning how to make traditional kuih bahulu in a traditional way

b.      Learning the secret recipes from the experts.

c.       Enhance entrepreneurship skills among club members.

       4.     Learn & apply techniques on making DNA spiral keychain

Agenda                :

a.       Learn the techniques on how to make DNA spiral newspaper keychain.

b.      Sharing of knowledge and experiences between advisors, seniors Year 2 and Year 1 members.

     5.       Competition Day

                -Fabric Painting & Sulaman Sapu Tangan

Agenda:

a.       Carrying out both competitions within the same time and date.

b.      Sending in the final art piece to the advisors to be judged by the chosen adjudicators.

c.       Tidying up the activity sites

    6.        Trip to Pusat Kraf Negara for Hari Kraf Kebangsaan

Agenda:

a.       Exhibit the Malaysian crafts and cultural demonstrations.

b.      Trying mencanting batik.

c.       Learn on how to make variety of souvenirs from recycled newspapers & magazines
