Sehati Serumpun Humanitarian Project

Sehati - One Heart. It shows how we as Malaysians are doing our part to help the Cambodians in matters that they are concern about. Empathy plays the biggest role and we truly need to bind our heart together and ultimately share the same concern about the matters which are important in life such as fulfilling the basic needs, and finding ways to improve everyday life. The best way for this to be achieved is by having one mission, one heart.

Serumpun - One World. We are helping those in need, without having any concern about nationality or ethnicity as humans living on the same face of the Earth. It is our responsibility as a neighbouring country to help in any way we can and share with the Cambodians the magnificent of Malaysia.

"Sehati Serumpun" symbolizes our effort to stick together and strive for the greater good of mankind, overlooking the race factor where both countries will definitely benefit each other's existence. One heart and one world is the main aim where we hope our heart will unite and the flame of togetherness will ignite.

Activities
Sehati Serumpun is a humanity project participated by students of Kolej MARA Banting, Selangor, Malaysia. In addition, this project will be involving three phases in two different countries which are Malaysia  and Cambodia.

Phase 1 will be conducted in Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) Kemasul, Pahang Malaysia . Our target group is the selected children of the FELDA settlers ranging from the age of 8 to 12. Generally, we will introduce to them on how to study interactively by using E-learning study program. We will monitor, consult and supervise them on how to use and apply the module in their learning will be provided with Internet connection as the Score A programme requires the access of Internet. It is hoped that the program will inculcate a better understanding of the importance of education, and its affection.

Phase 2 will be conducted in few boarding and daily schools in Malaysia. This programme is more to organizing motivational talk and sharing few ways for these students especially the SPM student about how their future will be after they have finished their secondary year and suggesting few plans for them to further their study. Among the schools are MRSM Tun Ghafar Baba, Sekolah Sains Seremban(SASER), Sains Seri Puteri(SSP), Sekolah Menengah Teknik KL  and few others. While organizing this programe, we also asked for some charity donation from the parents to support our project for Muslim in Cambodia. Hopefully this programe will give lots of benefit to students at the chosen school.

Last but not least, the Phase 3 will be held in  Kampung Cham, Cambodia. The five main objectives are to  build a mosque, to introduce a new invention of pump that can simultaneously filter the water impurities, to incorporate basic hygienic practices, to promote health awareness and to train teachers there on how to teach in a more efficient way. Though mosque expenses might be very expensive, we still think that it is essential since mosque functions as a gathering place instead of a holy place for them to pray.
